Spinal deformities and back pain have been a growing problem in childhood and adolescence due to several unhealthy habits. The present study undertakes a scoping review to identify scientific studies with school children focusing on methodologies used, identifying the implementation key factors and gaps, and results of postural education programmes. The following bibliographic databases were searched between May and June 2022: b-on portal, Scopus, Pubmed, Web of SCIENCE, and SciELO. The PRISMA extension for scoping reviews (PRISMA-ScR), developed by a 24-member expert panel and two research leaders following published guidance from the EQUATOR (Enhancing the QUAlity and Transparency Of health Research) Network, was the methodologic tool used.
