Following the mapping of existing Lusophone graphic novels that address gender-based violence, the research team carried out a selection process with two main objectives: 1. to identify, among the mapped works, those considered suitable for use in educational contexts (e.g., Portuguese secondary schools that will be involved in the empirical phase of the project); 2. to select four to five graphic novels that will be employed in the empirical phase of the project, aimed at collecting data on students’ responses.This is an original work developed within the scope of the Genteel project. After the extensive mapping process of Graphic Novels against Gender-Based Violence in Lusophone, the texts were selected based on criteria related to the project's aims.FCT - Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia2023.14621.PEX
