Spinal deformities and back pain have been a growing problem in childhood and adolescence due to several unhealthy habits. The following bibliographic databases were searched between May and June 2022: b-on portal, Scopus, Pubmed, Web of SCIENCE, and SciELO. The PRISMA extension for scoping reviews (PRISMA-ScR), developed by a 24-member expert panel and two research leaders following published guidance from the EQUATOR (Enhancing the QUAlity and Transparency Of health Research) Network, was the methodologic tool used.
